PCI 64 bit Bus Extenders .... Wearout and Regular extenders....

Picture of PCIX64PCIX64 is a Bus Isolation Extender that allows the user to test the 64 bit PCI add-on boards quickly, without having to power the system down each time. It is especially designed to save valuable labor and time in the production environment. It is also a great tool for engineers, during product development, where changes and testing are required. It also serves to protect the motherboard from damage caused by bad board under test. It has many outstanding features such as, local or external power and signal isolation controls and fused power lines with short circuit sensing, etc. It also allows external voltage margin and current measurement. The latest version supports the WOL function and the PCIX spec. To order, add -3 for VIO=3.3V version, -5 for VIO=5V version, -T for right angle connector (mounted on the A side of the extender) option, -H for header pins option. The dimension is 9.25" L x 2.3" H. PCIX64 Specification

Picture of PCIEX8PCIEX8 is a regular 64 bit PCI extender. It features pluggable fuses, power indicating LEDs, header pins for logic analyzer hook up, prototype area and optional right angle PCI connector (on solder side, A). By changing the position of the pluggable fuses, it allows power from the motherboard, or from external source, to power the PCI board on top of the PCIEX8 extender. Therefore, voltage margin can be performed through an external power source and current measurement can be performed by removing the fuse and bridge the socket with an ammeter. An extra row of ground pins is placed next to the header pins, so users with high speed probes can have many closely grounded points. The latest version supports the PCIX mode. To order, add -3 for VIO=3.3V version, -5 for VIO=5V version, -T for right angle connector (mounted on the A side of the extender) option, -H for header pins option.. The dimension is 8.0" L x 2.2" H.

PCITX8-1 and PCITX8-2 are 64 bit right angle PCI risers that can turn in either direction. They are designed for short chassis, such as the 2U chassis. The height of the PCITX8-2 is designed to clear that of PCITX8-1, so that two PCI I/O boards can be inserted in parallel with the motherboard in the same direction. Both risers support the PCIX mode. User must specify VIO version and the side where the connector is mounted when placing an order. An on-board jumper allows VIO conversion, so a 3.3V I/O board can be used in a 5V slot, and vice versa. To order, specify -3 for VIO=3.3V, -5 for VIO=5V, -5/3 for 5V card in a 3.3V slot, -3/5 for 3.3V card in a 5V slot. Also, add -A for connector on A side or -B for connector on B side of the extender. At the very bottom of the riser, there is an AGP form factor drop down section that allows the riser to reside in the motherboard AGP slot. This drop down section can be removed, and the riser can be mounted anywhere inside the chassis. The user can order the riser with either PCI-32 or PCI-64 bit connectors. The VIO voltage of each connector on the riser is selectable. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. The top PCI slot is located at 1.79", the bottom PCI slot is located at 0.99", from the bottom of the board. The wide cable and the narrow cable can be ordered in various lengths.
