PCI 32 bit Bus Extenders .... Bus Isolation, Wearout, offset, Right Angle and Regular extenders ....

Picture of PCIX32PCIX32 is a Bus Isolation Extender that allows the user to test the 32 bit PCI add-on boards quickly, without having to power the system down each time. It is especially designed to save valuable labor and time in the production environment. It is also a great tool for engineers, during product development, where changes and testing are required. It has many outstanding features such as, local or external power and signal isolation controls and fused power lines with short circuit sensing, etc. It also allows current measurement and voltage margin from external sources. The latest version supports the WOL function and the PCIX spec. The dimension is 7.6" L x 2.3" H. PCIX32 Specification

Picture of PCIFLIPPCI-FLIP is a PCI extender with the signals routed 180 degree out of phase. It is designed for users that need to insert their PCI I/O boards in testing environment in the same orientation as the ISA boards. User need to specify the VIO version, when ordering. Add -3 for VIO=3.3V version, -5 for VIO=5V version (default). The dimension is 3.5" L x 2.7" H.

Picture of PCIEX4PCIEX4 is a regular PCI extender. It features pluggable fuses, power indicating LEDs, header pins for logic analyzer hook up, prototype area and optional right angle PCI connector (on solder side), at upper or lower position. By changing the position of the pluggable fuses, it allows power from the motherboard or from an external source to power the PCI board, on top of the PCIEX4 extender. Therefore, the voltage margin can be performed through an external power source and current measurement can be performed by removing the fuse and bridged with an ammeter. An extra row of ground pins is placed next to the header pins, so users with high speed probes can have many closely grounded points. The latest version supports the PCIX spec. Add -3 for VIO=3.3V version, -5 for VIO=5V version (default), -TH for right angle connector at upper location option, -TL for right angle connector at lower position option. The dimension is 6.3" L x 2.2" H.

Picture of PCILX4PCILX4 is a taller PCI extender. It has all of the features of the PCIEX4, plus direct support for HP165X logic probes. The PCILX4 supports the HP165X, 100k ohm Termination adapter. This new feature helps engineers using the HP 165X logic analyzers to probe the bus signals quickly, without having to stitch the probes into the pin headers, one by one. The users of non-HP analyzers can also benefit from the grouping of the signals. It is especially useful when the logic analyzer is being shared with other developments. Add -3 for VIO=3.3V version, -5 for VIO=5V version (default), -T for right angle connector option. The dimension of the extender is 6.3" L X 4.9" H.

PCIRX2N1 is a PCI 2 in 1 right angle riser. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.01"H x 6.94"W. The bottom slot is connected to a flexible wide cable. The majority of bus signals from the top slot is connected to the bottom slot. However, there are some dedicated signals needed for the top slot that are borrowed from a flexible narrow cable which is plugged into a nearby motherboard slot. At the very bottom of the riser, there is an AGP form factor drop down section that allows the riser to reside in the motherboard AGP slot. This drop down section can be removed, and the riser can be mounted anywhere inside the chassis. The user can order the riser with either PCI-32 or PCI-64 bit connectors. The VIO voltage of each connector on the riser is selectable. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. The top PCI slot is located at 1.79", the bottom PCI slot is located at 0.99", from the bottom of the board. The wide cable and the narrow cable can be ordered in various lengths. The AGP drop down section will be removed, in -NA version and all relative dimensions will be 0.375" less.

PCITX3N1 is a PCI 3 in 1 right angle riser. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is 2.75"H x 7.10"W. The middle slot is connected directly to the gold fingers. Majority of the bus signals of the top slot is connected to the middle slot. However, there are some dedicated signals that are needed for the top slot, and they are borrowed from a narrow cable that is plugged into a nearby motherboard slot. The bottom slot is a completely independent connection, coming from a wide cable that connects to yet another PCI slot on the motherboard. This arrangement allows the bottom slot to work off a PCI slot on the Motherboard that is not common to the PCI slot where the riser is plugged in. The user can order the riser with a three PCI-32 bit slots or up to a three 64 bit slots configuration. The VIO voltage of each slot on the riser are selectable. All connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. The top PCI slot is located at 2.515", the center PCI slot is located at 1.715", and the bottom PCI slot is located at 0.915" from the bottom of the board.
